2009 Scholarship Information Purpose To provide financial assistance to a student with an interest in pursuing an educational program in an analytic field related to the automotive industry. Award A one time award of $1,500 made payable to the recipient's educational institution for tuition. Eligibility Students who meet these criteria are eligible for the scholarship: Application process Application materials must be received by May 3, 2002 in order to be considered. The following materials must be submitted: 1. Completed application form (form available on-line) 2. A typed essay (no more than one page double spaced) explaining your interest in the automotive industry and your future career ambitions. 3. One letter of reference or recommendation from a member of the Society of Automotive Analysts. Send completed application materials to: Society of Automotive Analysts Attn: Scholarships 3300 Washtenaw Avenue - Suite 220 Ann Arbor, MI 48104-4200 Selection Recipients will be selected by the Society of Automotive Analysts Scholarship committee based on application materials provided. All scholarship applicants will be notified of the board's decision by July 12, 2002. Payment will be made to the school of choice of the recipient at the beginning of the academic year in accordance with the school's scholarship guidelines. The names of the scholarship recipients will be announced at the Annual Automotive Outlook Conference in January.
